MXEDGE has represented or assisted in strategically aligning companies and properties such as Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota, Mattel, General Motors, Red Bull, Monster Energy, Rockstar Energy, Oakley, Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., American Suzuki Motor Corp., Geico Honda and Alpinestars to name a few. Athletes have included James “Bubba” Stewart, Brett Metcalfe, and most recently rising star Cooper Webb.
After a successful career in the institutional management field including two stints as a CEO and being recognized as an expert source by such media outlets as The New York Times, The LA Times, The USA Today and CNBC, David Evans founded MXEDGE in 2004. Evans, a long-time motocross racer, wanted to test the old saying that if you love your job you will never work another day.
The fledgling firm was fortunate to be immediately retained by Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. and shortly thereafter by James “Bubba” Stewart. In 2006 Joe Gibbs Racing retained MXEDGE to assist in the creation and development of a new supercross team, that partnership continues to this day.
Over the years the firm has had the privilege of assisting numerous action sports brands, athletes, promoters, and properties in brand promotion, proposal preparation, sponsorship acquisition, and contract negotiations. Evans found the old saying to be true.
